The Humanitarian-Development-Peace (HDP) Nexus is an approach that recognizes the interconnectedness of humanitarian, development, and peace efforts in crisis-affected contexts. It emphasizes a "whole-of-system" approach, where EDA in these three areas collaborate to address the root causes of conflict, emergency responses, and address the humanitarian needs of affected populations.  EDA gives priority for women, children, and conflict-affected communities, particularly GBV, mental health issues are given due attention.
